Britsh L2A2 sight unit Infantry Trilux scope with French FRF2 sniper rifle mount.The French Army tested a number of NATO scopes prior to adopting the FRF2 .308 sniper rifle.One of the scopes tested is this example.The sight unit is the standard L2A2 except for the battery compartment which is blocked off. The L2A2 mount platform has been removed and attached to the FRF2 mount.A rare example of Franco British co-operation.(The French did not adopt the L2A2).
